This transformational course teaches leadership in clear and simple terms, with simple graphics that are easy to remember. The course is based on ideas you’ll find in The Leadership Book, Neil Jurd’s best-selling guide to leadership.
What you’ll get from the course. You’ll significantly increase your positive impact at work with the simple and easily applied leadership lessons on this course. You’ll understand the difference between leadership and management, and you’ll be able to motivate and bring out the best in other people. Your leadership will improve with each lesson you complete.
Topics covered include:
- A clear and easily applied definition of leadership
- How to understand yourself and others
- Building positive relationships
- Why we need both leadership and management
- How to define a clear and compelling purpose
- How good leadership involves caring for others
- How to build positive relationships
- How to have performance conversations
- How to coach to get the best from others
How to use the Course. This is obviously completely up to you, but we suggest you take time to digest and apply each lesson. Many people learn better if they have a partner to learn with, or a mentor or coach they can discuss ideas with. Although you could easily complete all the videos in a relatively short period of a few hours, you would gain more from the experience by approaching it mindfully and slowly, taking the time to practice, apply and reflect as you progress through the course.
