If we feel stressed, anxious or nervous our body begins to close down a little bit and in turn limits the amount of oxygen we are breathing. This makes our breathing short and shallow and puts the body into “fight or flight” mode. When we are felling confident and happy, the opposite happens and our breathing relaxes.
