Leader-Connect Online Leadership Training

In recent weeks the Leader-Connect online leadership school has signed up several SMEs and other users, in total we have welcomed around 80 new users.  Our client base is very broad, users of the online leadership training include housing-tech company Alertacall, staff at the prestigious School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS) in London, and leaders of the Abingdon Learning Trust in Oxfordshire.

We recently completed a major upgrade to the platform, so if you haven’t visited recently then do take a look.  At the moment all our courses are recorded in English, and primarily aimed at UK based managers looking to develop online leadership skills.  That said there in interest from India, and as long as users speak reasonable English anyone can use the online leadership courses. There are several comprehensive leadership courses on the platform recorded by Leader-Connect founder and ‘The Leadership Book’ author Neil Jurd  and Neil has also recorded courses on team development and planning.

Neil’s courses cover a lot of the lessons that you’ll find in the book, so if you have enjoyed the book, you’ll probably find the courses very useful. The online leadership courses are also a great way of getting quick leadership training for your managers; it is possible to sign up and start training right away.  So if you need to get 30 leaders all understanding and applying good leadership straight away then the online leadership school is a very effective way of achieving this.

The courses are all structured as short video lessons, generally about 8 minutes long, supported with clear graphics. After each video there are some questions to reinforce the learning, and at the end of the course the learner receives a certificate of completion.

The leadership learning platform has courses of various length.  The shorter courses such as Leading with Empathy can consist of 5 or 6 videos, and these are likely to be suitable for the leadership development of supervisors and more junior managers, but there are also much longer courses consisting of around 20 videos and these would be suitable for middle and more senior leaders, up to and including SLT leaders in business or education.
