We have put together a brilliant collection of videos on Leader-Connect featuring speakers from our home county of Cumbria. Leader-Connect started in Cumbria, and we are lucky enough to have some great local speakers, authors and experts.

Alex Staniforth talks about surviving the Everest earthquake and his own mental health challenges and how he has faced them. Alex is an inspiring mental health speaker, and a truly brilliant endurance athlete.

Judith Cantrell the author of ‘Teams for our Time’ talks about team development and remote working. Judith is very well known in leadership development, she designs very clever learning scenarios and her book is available online.

Alertacall Ltd founder James Batchelor talks about leading a fast growing and dynamic tech company, and of the importance of leaders taking time to talk to customers and how selling is an essential part of leading. If you haven’t heard of Alertacall then look them up- winners of the Queen’s Award for Enterprise.

Ben Dowman the author of ‘Adventures in Coaching’ explains how leaders can get the best out of their teams through coaching rather than controlling the detail. Ben’s book is fantastic, you can read it in one sitting.

And Lucy Nicholson teaches leaders how to increase their impact through positive body language and movement. We hope to work with Lucy in the future as we think that most leaders need what she teaches.
