Leader Connect is very proud to become the latest Platinum Partner of the Michelle Jurd Trust.
Founded by our very own Neil Jurd OBE in memory of his late wife in 2011, the aim of the Trust is to increase access to adventures for young people across Cumbria and the South Lakes. Adventure activities give children the change to experience situations they otherwise would never experience and learning skills that will prove vital as they grow up.
Since it’s inception, The Trust has supported schools in order to send more than 2,000 schoolchildren across the North West to outdoor activity and enjoy cultural pursuits. In addition, grants have been sent to many veteran charities including the RAF Benevolent Fund, and the Gurkha Welfare Trust.
