Leader-Connect was recently honoured to receive the Defence Relationship Management (DRM) Employer Recognition Scheme Silver Award which recognised our support to the service community including the Army Cadets UK | Official.
In particular, the owner of Leader Connect Neil Jurd OBE, is proud to have financially supported the Friends of Lancashire ACF Charity (Lancashire Army Cadet Force) since the inception of the the Charity in 2016.
The Charity ensures that every activity is open to all Cadets regardless of their financial background – the support from the Charity has enabled cadets to travel to the Netherlands, Belgium, Normandy, Canada, Germany and Barbados. Closer to home, funds from the charity are also used to offset the cost of events such as the Annual Summer Camp which starts later this week.
The work of the Charity was recently recognised in the Lord Lieutenant of Lancashire in the Annual Awards hosted by North West Reserve Forces’ and Cadets’ Association.
The Army Cadets is a fantastic organisation and enables young people and adult volunteers to gain skills that will stand them in good stead for life.
