David Marquett’s excellent ‘Turn this ship around’ is based on the author’s experience as a submarine commander where he focused his team around clear objectives but expected them to use their experience and expertise to make and carry out decisions in pursuit of that objective. Simon Sinek’s classic ‘Start with Why’ explains the need for organisational to be clear why exist before they define what they do and how they do it.
Leader-Connect owner and founder Neil Jurd OBE’s ‘The Leadership Book’ receives excellent reviews and offers an easy to follow practical guide to leadership and is designed to be useful to leaders at any level of seniority and in any line of work. We have based our “Leadership Academy” courses on this book and beleive that it one of the best books on the market.
